Doug Wilson
Doug
Wilson was an AMA pro from 1973 thru 1976. He was one of the top
motocross riders from Michigan in the early seventies. Doug
always had the fastest bikes in the state, mostly built by his
brother Vince. He raced the Winter AMA series in Florida in
1973, the Daytona Supercross in 1974 and various Nationals as
well. His parents owned K&W Cycle in Utica Michigan, a
shop well known for it's involvement in racing. Doug still rides
today, mostly trail riding in Michigan on a Yamaha WR 450 with
his brother Robert.
