After a
failed attempt by the factory at the West German Grand-prix to
modify the suspension, Roger took matters into his own hands.
Teaming up with Sylvain Geboers and Mr. Lucian Tilkens (inventor
of the monoshock), they came up with their own version of the
Maico type suspension. Using a spare works frame and
Rogers 370 international bike, This was the result. (notice the
original top shock mounts still on the frame) Roger won the
Belgian Grand-prix in its debut.
